Funded by the Rory and Elizabeth Brooks Foundation, the College brings together PhD students and academics from across the Global Development Institute, and is the first and only of its kind in the world for postgraduate research on international development.
A multidisciplinary team of students and established academics, it will provide opportunities for up to 100 early career researchers, encouraging innovation and collaboration through rigorous research and teaching.
Our aim is to more effectively support young researchers to become the next generation of researchers, leaders and policymakers, and to bolster the University of Manchester’s commitment to addressing global inequalities and making a difference to the lives of people living in poverty.
